The Faubourg de Cracovie collection, named after Czapek’s historic address in Warsaw, was introduced in 2018 as the brand’s first chronograph. The L’Heure Bleue edition draws inspiration from the so-called “blue hour,” that brief moment at twilight when the sky takes on a characteristic deep blue hue. It is precisely this motif that is reflected in the striking dial, which lends the watch a distinctive and elegant character.

The stainless steel case has a diameter of 41.5 mm and is complemented by a domed “Glass Box” sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. The watch’s focal point is the dark blue dial with a hand-crafted Ricochet guilloché pattern, whose intersecting circular lines radiate from a pair of recessed sub-dials, creating a striking play of light. The chronograph counter at the 3 o’clock position measures 30 minutes, the counter at 9 o’clock records up to 12 hours, and the 6 o’clock position features a small seconds sub-dial alongside a date window. Applied hour markers and hands with Super-LumiNova luminescence ensure excellent readability. The watch is complemented by an alligator leather strap with a folding clasp. The transparent sapphire crystal case back offers a view of the movement, and the watch is water-resistant to 50 meters.

Inside, it is powered by the Czapek SXH3 automatic caliber, developed in collaboration with the renowned Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier. This integrated chronograph utilizes a column wheel, a vertical clutch, and a linear reset mechanism, which ensure precise and smooth operation of the chronograph functions. The movement operates at a high frequency of 5 Hz—36,000 half-vibrations per hour—and offers a power reserve of approximately 65 hours. Its accuracy is confirmed by COSC chronometer certification. A view through the sapphire crystal case back reveals the movement’s sophisticated architecture, anthracite-finished bridges, and a gold rotor bearing the Czapek logo.
