The IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 in the TOP GUN Mojave Desert version is a modern instrument chronograph with a distinctive “sand” look inspired by desert shades and naval pilot equipment. Visually striking, yet still purely functional, it is a typical IWC pilot’s watch, only in a much more specific, collector-friendly configuration.
The case has a diameter of 41.9 mm and a height of 15.5 mm and is made of sand-beige ceramic with a matte finish. The case back is titanium, and the watch is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The brown dial is clear and high-contrast, with luminescent hands and indices, and features a chronograph layout with a 30-minute and 12-hour counter, a small seconds dial, and a day-date display at 3 o'clock. It sits on the wrist on a beige rubber strap with a textile insert. Water resistance is 100 meters.
Inside, it is powered by the automatic IWC 69380 caliber (in-house), a robust chronograph construction with a power reserve of 46 hours and a frequency of 28,800 vph.
