The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional is the direct successor to the legendary watch that made history as the first watch worn on the Moon during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969. Known among collectors as the “Sapphire Sandwich,” this variant combines the iconic Moonwatch design with modern craftsmanship, featuring a sapphire crystal on the front and a transparent sapphire caseback that reveals the beauty of Omega’s latest-generation movement.

The stainless steel case measures 42 mm in diameter and retains all the characteristic features of the Moonwatch, including its asymmetrical shape and black aluminum tachymeter bezel with the legendary “Dot Over Ninety” (DON) marking. The black dial with three recessed sub-dials offers a perfectly legible and balanced design of a classic chronograph. The watch is fitted with a steel bracelet featuring a newly redesigned construction that faithfully draws on historic models while offering greater comfort.
