The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional “Silver Snoopy Award” 50th Anniversary is one of the most striking modern interpretations of the legendary Speedmaster. The model commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Silver Snoopy Award, which NASA presented to Omega in 1970 for its contribution to the safety of space missions, particularly during the dramatic Apollo 13 mission. Snoopy is therefore not merely a design motif, but above all a symbol of an exceptionally important chapter in the brand’s history.

The stainless steel case has a diameter of 42 mm and is complemented by a blue ceramic bezel with a tachymeter scale featuring white Grand Feu enamel inlays. The silver dial contrasts with the blue sub-dials and blue accents, while the sub-dial at the 9 o’clock position features the distinctive Silver Snoopy Award motif. The watch is fitted with a blue nylon fabric strap with a steel buckle. Its water resistance of 50 meters is in keeping with the traditional design of the Speedmaster Moonwatch.

One of the most exceptional features of this model is its animated case back. The back features an image of the Moon and Earth, and when the chronograph is started, Snoopy, in his command and service module, moves along a transparent hand across the case back. The Master Chronometer certification from METAS confirms the high standards of precision, performance, and durability of the entire watch.
