The Rolex Submariner is one of the most famous diver’s watches of all time, and the 114060 represents a now-discontinued generation of the classic model without a date display. It was introduced in 2012 as the successor to the 14060M and remained in production until 2020, when it was replaced by the larger 124060 model. It retains the traditional 40 mm diameter but features a more modern case design, a ceramic bezel, and a significantly more sophisticated bracelet.

The Oystersteel case has a diameter of 40 mm and the characteristic proportions of this generation, with sturdier lugs and crown protection. The unidirectional rotating bezel is fitted with a black Cerachrom ceramic insert featuring a 60-minute diving scale, with platinum-coated numerals and graduations. The black dial, without a date window, offers a clean and perfectly symmetrical layout with bold hour markers and hands featuring blue Chromalight luminescence. The watch is fitted with a steel Oyster bracelet featuring a folding Oysterlock safety clasp and the Glidelock system, which allows for fine-tuning of the length without the use of tools. The Triplock screw-down crown and the Oyster case construction ensure water resistance to 300 meters.

Inside, it is powered by the Rolex 3130 in-house automatic caliber, a timepiece with a long-standing track record equipped with a blue paramagnetic Parachrom hairspring. Automatic winding is provided by the bidirectional Perpetual rotor, and the movement features a stop-seconds function for precise time setting. The power reserve is approximately 48 hours.

The Rolex Submariner 114060 represents one of the latest generations of the Submariner, combining the classic 40mm case size with a modern ceramic bezel and a robust Glidelock bracelet.
