The Rolex Datejust 36, featuring a new green ombré dial, offers a striking modern interpretation of one of the brand’s most traditional collections. Rolex introduced this dial as a new feature, and it is characterized by a smooth transition from a rich green center to nearly black edges. Combined with a fluted white gold bezel and a Jubilee bracelet, the classic Datejust 36 takes on a more distinctive and contemporary character.

The 36-mm White Rolesor case combines Oystersteel with 18k white gold, from which the distinctive fluted bezel is crafted. The watch’s focal point is the green ombré dial, whose base is entirely coated in green paint, with the gradient created by applying black paint in concentric layers toward the edges. The applied hour markers and hands feature Chromalight luminescence, and the date at the 3 o’clock position is highlighted by a Cyclops lens. The watch is fitted with an elegant five-link Jubilee bracelet made of Oystersteel, featuring an Oysterclasp folding clasp and the Easylink extension system. Water resistance to 100 meters is ensured by the traditional Oyster case construction with a Twinlock screw-down crown.

Inside, the watch is powered by the Rolex 3235 in-house automatic caliber, equipped with the Chronergy escapement, a blue Parachrom hairspring, and highly effective Paraflex shock absorbers. Automatic winding is provided by the bidirectional Perpetual rotor, and the power reserve is approximately 70 hours. As a Superlative Chronometer, the fully assembled watch achieves the declared accuracy of −2/+2 seconds per day after casing.
